I went on to search the “true” kilogram in nature. For that I worked on an apple farm picking, weighing, and imaging 1000 kilograms of apples, one kilogram at a time. The result is a installation of 1000 cut-out photographs of mass and a photograph with stands for the object-“Ton” By doing that I would like to show how we experience the world through these artificial units of metric system and how these influence our interpretation of what we experience.
